The records consist of volumes 622-627 of the proceedings of the Committee on Foreign Policy for the period April 30, 1936-August 25, 1939 and two volumes of memoranda, July 8, 1936-August 29, 1939. Volume I of the memoranda contains material on Germany, Spain, France, the colonies, the League of Nations, and the Locarno Peace Treaty. Volume II consists of memoranda on Germany, Central and South-Eastern Europe, Italy, Czechoslovakia, Holland, Danzig, Russia, China, and the Far East. The records constitute part of Public Record Office group Cabinet Office class 27 (PRO CAB 27).
